Make a quick, flavorful meatloaf using Stove Top stuffing mix as the primary binder and seasoning. This recipe requires minimal effort for a simple weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • 1 box Stove Top Stuffing Mix (any flavor)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a standard loaf pan or line a baking sheet with parchment paper for a free-form loaf.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Stove Top Stuffing Mix, egg, and water. Mix gently with your hands until just combined. Do not overmix the ingredients.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in the prepared pan or on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
  5. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • You can use any flavor of Stove Top stuffing mix you prefer for a slight variation in flavor.
  • For a classic glazed meatloaf, mix 1/2 cup ketchup with 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and spread it over the top during the last 15 minutes of baking.
  • If you skip the loaf pan and bake it free-form on a sheet pan, the cooking time might be slightly shorter.
