  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow fluff (creme)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal. Lightly grease the paper.
  2. In a medium, microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and the sweetened condensed milk.
  3. Microwave on medium power for 60 seconds. Stir well. Continue microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly after each, until the mixture is completely smooth and melted. This prevents scorching.
  4. Remove the bowl from the microwave. Add the entire jar of marshmallow fluff to the melted chocolate mixture.
  5. Stir gently until the marshmallow fluff is fully incorporated and the mixture is uniform in color and texture. Do not overmix.
  6. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan. Use an offset spatula to spread it evenly.
  7. Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until firm enough to cut.
  8. Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Place it on a cutting board.
  9. Use a sharp knife to cut the fudge into 1-inch squares. This recipe yields a decadent, classic homemade fudge treat.
