Make this tangy and creamy dill pickle dip for your next party or game day. It is a quick, crowd-pleasing appetizer that uses simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1/4 cup pickle juice
  • 1 tablespoon dried dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese and sour cream in a medium mixing bowl. Beat them together with an electric mixer until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  2. Stir in the finely chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, dried dill weed, garlic powder, and black pepper until everything combines well.
  3. Taste the dip and add more pickle juice or seasoning if you want a stronger flavor.
  4. Cover the bowl and chill the pickle dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve your cold dip with potato chips, pretzels, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • For an extra layer of flavor, add 1/4 cup of dry ranch seasoning mix to the dip base.
  • If you want a crunchier texture, reserve a few tablespoons of the chopped pickles and fold them in right before serving.
  • You can make this savory cream cheese dip up to 24 hours ahead of time.
