Make these easy Buffalo Chicken Sliders for your next game day or party. This recipe uses soft rolls, shredded chicken, and spicy buffalo sauce, baked on a sheet pan for simple assembly and cleanup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (12-pack) sweet slider rolls (like Hawaiian rolls)
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works well)
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons ranch dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo wing sauce, ranch dressing, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until the chicken is evenly coated.
  3. Slice the entire package of slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping the rolls connected. Place the bottom half of the rolls in your prepared baking dish or on the sheet pan.
  4. Distribute the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the bottom half of the rolls.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the chicken mixture.
  6. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese and chicken.
  7. In a small bowl, melt the butter. Brush the melted butter generously over the top of the assembled sliders.
  8. Cover the dish or sheet pan loosely with aluminum foil. Bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and the tops of the rolls are golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven, let cool for 5 minutes, slice between the rolls, and garnish with fresh parsley if you are using it. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, brush a mixture of melted butter and a dash of Worcestershire sauce over the tops of the rolls before baking.
  • If you prefer blue cheese flavor, substitute the ranch dressing in the chicken mixture with blue cheese dressing.
  • Use pre-cooked, shredded rotisserie chicken to cut down on preparation time for these quick dinner recipes.
