6 cups chicken broth
2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
1 cup chopped carrots
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup egg noodles
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 bay leaf
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Instructions
Combine chicken broth, shredded chicken, carrots, celery, onion, thyme, and bay leaf in a large pot.
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
Add the egg noodles to the pot. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the noodles are done to your liking.
Remove the bay leaf. Season with salt and pepper to your taste.
