Make crispy, tender Bang Bang Salmon Bites in your air fryer. This recipe uses a creamy, spicy sauce for a flavorful weeknight dinner ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lb salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, honey, lime juice, and garlic powder. Mix well to create the Bang Bang sauce. Set aside half of the sauce for drizzling later.
  2. In a separate bowl, toss the salmon cubes with paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Place the seasoned salmon cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary.
  4. Air fry at 380°F (195°C) for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the salmon is cooked through and slightly crispy.
  5. Transfer the cooked salmon bites to a large bowl. Pour the reserved half of the Bang Bang sauce over the bites and gently toss to coat.
  6. Serve immediately, drizzling any remaining sauce from the bowl over the top.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, you can lightly dust the salmon pieces with a tablespoon of cornstarch before seasoning.
  • If you do not have an air fryer, you can bake these at 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions or sesame seeds before serving.
